La Roche-Posay debuts prescription-strength retinoid acne treatment

7/11/2019
La Roche-Posay is continuing to change the skin care came for those with acne.

To do so, the brand has launched its new Effaclar Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment, which contains adapalene, a prescription-strength retinoid acne treatment that can now be found over-the-counter.

In addition, La Roche-Posay is also debuting its My Skin Track PoreScan that offers skin analysis powered by artificial intelligence.

"My Skin Track PoreScan not only provides consumers access to a personalized skincare regimen upon their initial skin analysis, but it also allows them to track changes in their skin after completing their regimen. This will provide insights into how to adapt their daily skincare routine with new product recommendations based on their new needs." Adrien Dissous, the vice president of maketing for La Roche-Posay USA, said.

The My Skin Track PoreScan uses artificial intelligence to make personalized skincare recommendations for those that are concerned with clogged pores, raised imperfections and residual marks, the company said.

Shoppers can find the new Effaclar Adapalene Gel 0,1% Acne Treatment from the brand in stores and online for the suggested retail price of $29.99. The My Skin Track PoreScan will be available at porescan.com and through the YouCam Makeup app.
