Musician Adam Levine debuts signature fragrance for men, women

2/18/2013

NEW YORK — Maroon 5 front man, Adam Levine, debuted in February his own signature fragrance for men and women.

The recording artist has teamed up with ID Perfumes to develop his signature scent. The women's Eau de Parfum has a sexy signature. The floral woody scent boasts an overdose of spice intermingled with Indian jasmine petals, Australian sandalwood, and rose petals, to then unveil a base of vanilla. The men's Eau de Toilette is all parts invigorating and sophisticated with an edge. A rush of mandarin, grapefruit, and lemongrass is intensified by notes of amber, sandalwood, and cedarwood to reveal a fresh, yet intensely masculine fragrance.

The bottles take the form of a microphone, with a weighted cap in silver mesh. The black stem resembles the wire of a microphone.

The fragrances will be sold in 1 fl. oz., 1.7 fl. oz., and 3.4 fl. oz. sizes at suggested retail prices of $35, $45, and $65, respectively. Gift sets and ancillary products will be released seasonally. The line will be available at Macy's and Macys.com in the U.S. It will also be available at Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada, with plans for increased distribution both domestically and internationally throughout the year.
