New exclusive beauty brand launches at Walgreens

2/3/2015

NEW YORK — Celebrated manicurist and famed color mixologist, Nonie Creme, has officially announced her newest venture — the launch of Nonie Creme Colour Prevails available exclusively at Walgreens, Walgreens.com, Duane Reade and Drugstore.com.

"While developing this collection one thing was clear: each product had to feature multiple benefits," stated Creme, founding creative director of Nonie Creme Colour Prevails.  "If it wasn't ergonomically-designed, like our patent-pending Precision Painter – which will actually make you paint better, it had to be multi-purpose.  It had to feature prestige-quality formulas and be set at a masstige price."

Recognizing a white space in the industry, Creme exclusively aligned with Walgreens to fill the gap. Nonie Creme Colour Prevails gives customers the ability to create their own unique and unexpected color moments, straight out of the tube, or hand-mixed and blended as they see fit.

"Women are in the drug store every day," added Creme. "They should be able to shop the beauty aisle and find high-quality beauty products at a price they can afford while getting their prescription."

"We're pleased to offer the distinct and compelling assortment of Colour Prevails color cosmetics at Walgreens. The unique products will expand upon our wide selection of beauty products that help our customers achieve their ideal look," stated Shannon Curtin, group VP, Walgreens personal care and beauty.  "Whether it's color cosmetics or nail care products, shoppers can explore a variety of offerings including these innovative products and shades."

The new collection from Creme, former founding creative director at beauty brand Butter London, signifies self-expression through color with an assortment of beauty products including but not limited to lip, nail, eye and cheek.

Drugstore consumers will experience products like the five-free formulated Nail Lacquer & Precision Painter ($8), designed with an ergonomically-designed brush for improved painting ability. The Lash Ombre ($13) will be another first with its eye-enhancing mascara that places a burst of color near the iris, while leaving tips long and dark, for a stunning ombre look.

Product price points range from $8 to $19. Nonie Creme Colour Prevails will be available in the United States on Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com beginning this month and in select Walgreens locations beginning in March.
