P&G introduces Oral-B Advantage Floss Picks

9/2/2008

CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble has introduced under its Oral-B brand the new Advantage Floss Picks.

According to the company, the picks, available in September, are the only picks with a dual-action Texture-Slide floss technology designed to make flossing easier. The Texture-Slide fiber is shred resistant, slides easily between teeth and has a cleaning edge designed to sweep away plaque. The picks also feature an ergonomic handle so they are easy to grip.

“Even though research continually shows the benefits of flossing, Americans are not flossing as much as they should. They want less steps and more comfort and ease in their flossing experience,” stated Diane Dietz, general manager of North American oral care. “We developed Oral-B Advantage Floss Picks in response to expressed consumer frustration and demand for a better flossing experience.”

The Oral-B Advantage Floss Picks will have a suggested retail price of $3.49 for 90 picks.
