Remington introduces CODE men's shaver with pick-up line Web site

9/4/2007

MADISON, Wis. Remington is supporting the launch of its new CODE men’s shaver by conducting a nationwide search for the best and worst pick-up lines.

"This contest offers a unique, funny and light-hearted way for young men to open up about a topic that is relevant to their everyday lives … women," stated Drew Fiorenza, vice president of marketing at Remington. "Young guys are always trying to attract ladies, and while CODE will help them get women’s attention, we want to hear about the other tricks men have for getting the ‘green light.’"

The new electric shaver features a dual-stage cutting system that handles multiple-day growth. Features of the new razor include an adjustable comfort guard to protect sensitive areas, an integrated trimmer and an LED panel that glows.

Now through Sept. 30, guys and gals can log onto <a title="www.GetTheCode.com" href="http://www.getthecode.com/" />www.GetTheCode.com to submit their best pick-up lines. Consumers can go online and vote for their favorite entries. The top 10 most voted on lines will be selected to win a new Remington CODE shaver and 10 personalized t-shirts featuring their winning pick-up line and a matching illustration.
