Rite Aid highlights new exclusive skin care line with in-store event

NEW YORK — Rite Aid’s new exclusive Receutics Active Skin Repair line took center stage Wednesday as the retailer invited beauty editors and consumers to check out the new 10-piece collection with an intimate event at its West Village store.

As reported by Drug Store News, the collection is currently available at select stores in New Jersey and Seattle — and now New York. By January 2016, the collection will be available nationwide.

To highlight the dermatologist-strength line, Rite Aid has set up multiple placements throughout the store, including at the pharmacy counter. The placement within pharmacy is key as pharmacists are available to serve as a resource for consumers looking for effective products to address skin care concerns.

“We are going to see what prescriptions patients are on. If they are on any type of vitamin A-type of products … for their acne then we are going to recommend the [Acne Clearing products],” Martin Ossolinski, Rite Aid pharmacy manager, told Drug Store News. “… Also, if you are on a steroid, we would recommend the [Therapeutic Relief products].”

According to Rite Aid, the products contain up to five times the concentration of skin-repairing vitamins, amino acids and phytonutrients of the leading brands. Key ingredients include fruit seed extract, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, retinoids, aloe vera and vitamin C. All of the products are paraben free.
