Sally Hansen launches varied products for 2008

UNIONDALE, N.Y. Sally Hansen, a Del Laboratories brand, is launching as part of its 2008 new product lineup a range of implements and products to pamper hands and feet.

Under its Just Feet collection, Sally Hansen will offer Cracked Heel Repair Cream ($6.50); Spa Peppermint Healing Foot Balm ($6.50); Anti-Fungal Foot Creme ($8.95); Pumice Stone and Massager ($4.99); and Professional Toenail Nipper ($18.99).

It also is expanding its La Cross brand with the launch of new Total Control Tweezers, Comfort Grip Cuticle Nippers, Angled Head Foot Smoother, Gentle Curl Lash Curler, Foot Smoothing Disk, Perfect Point Tweezers, Firm Grip Cuticle Trimmer and Detail Mini Eyelash Curler. Prices range between $3.95 and $15.50.

For hair removal, the company is launching Naturally Bare Honey Wax Remover for Face and Body, priced at $8 and $9.98, respectively. Both products promise to remove hair for up to eight weeks.

Also new is the Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover Silk Protein Softening Complex and Rich Triple Butters. This product is designed to remove coarse, stubborn hair. The product is priced at $8.

As reported by Drug Store News, Coty has announced plans to acquire Del Labs, a move that will bolster its beauty portfolio under Coty Beauty. Under the terms of the agreement, all operations of DLI Holding, the parent company of Del Labs, will be merged with and into Coty. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close by Dec. 31.
