SoftSheen-Carson hires model Cynthia Bailey as spokeswoman

NEW YORK — SoftSheen-Carson Laboratories has hired Cynthia Bailey to promote its Optimum Salon Haircare line and launch a new product collection based on an oil traditionally used in India, the company said.


SoftSheen-Carson announced it had hired the model, businesswoman and Real Housewife of Atlanta to promote the Optimum Salon Haircare Amla Legend Rejuvenating Ritual, a line based on Indian Amla oil. Bailey appeared at AIRE Ancient Baths to launch the product with Johnny Wright, SoftSheen-Carson artistic style director and stylist to such famous figures as first lady Michelle Obama.



"Our premium products have been endorsed by stylists from around the globe who are raving about the results," SoftSheen-Carson education director Mezei Jefferson said. "The Optimum AMLA Legend line combines the power of Amla with state-of-the-art haircare. In this unique haircare ritual, hair is transformed with amazing inner strength and shine."


The line includes shampoos, hair conditioners, moisturizers, night wraps, cream relaxers and hair potions.
