CHICAGO — Health-and-wellness retail insight provider SPINS this week added two new members to its team. The company named Patrick Kelly SVP customer solutions and AJ Rivera its principal of global enterprise sales.
"Patrick Kelly and AJ Rivera each bring unique abilities to drive advanced, data-driven collaboration between brands and retailers to activate their shared customer with the transparency and product knowledge that customers demand," SPINS CEO Tony Olson said. "We continue to invest heavily in SPINS' clients and partners' shared success at retail."
Kelly was most recently director of client development at Label Insight, where he generated new business opportunities among retail brands and manufacturers. At SPINS, he will be charged with using its assets to bring insight and actionable solutions o the company’s retail partners, improving the health-and-wellness shopping experience and driving consumer loyalty.
“My team will help SPINS’ retail partners truly understand what's important to their customers, whether it's lifestyle diets, sustainability, competitive pricing, or a combination thereof, then we'll empower them to activate those customers in partnership with their vendors,” Kelly said. “With expert analysis and the proprietary attribution of SPINS' Product Library, we can strengthen the retailer-supplier relationship and win with customers.”
Rivera’s role will see him working with CPG companies to create custom wellness frameworks that will allow brands to use data in new ways. Most recently, he was at Nielsen Catalina Solutions, where he served as VP programmatic strategy and sales, overseeing the company’s digital data strategy and channel business for CPG companies.
"With my addition to SPINS, we plan to complement our current business solutions with broader enterprise-level engagements, offering comprehensive, panoramic service experiences that are completely customizable to our clients' needs," said Rivera.
