The Village Company expands offerings, reach with acquisition

MINNEAPOLIS — Up-and-coming personal care product marketer and manufacturer The Village Company announced Wednesday that it had acquired several brand from High Ridge Brands. The Village Company now owns the rights and assets for Soft & Dri, La Bella, Dep, Pure & Natural, Mink Difference, Adorn and The Dry Look. 


 


“We are thrilled to acquire these iconic brands and to expand The Village Company portfolio of personal care products,” The Village Company CEO Paul Norton said. “We look forward to integrating these brands into our organization and are excited about the potential that this acquisition brings to our company. The addition of these well-known items to our product line will increase our value to retail partners and enhance our offering to meet even more consumer needs.”


 


Several of the newly acquired brands have been around since the 1950s and 1960s, with loyal customers. The company also said that the acquisition would expand its reach, as the portfolio it acquired has distribution in Canada.
