Birch Benders intros keto, organic baking line

Birch Benders is looking to shake up the cake and brownie aisle.

The keto and paleo-focused brand, which already markets waffle and pancake mixes, is expanding its baking mix offerings.  

Made with clean ingredients, the Denver-based brand’s mixes and frostings contain no added sugar, and the keto-friendly line is free of gluten and contains less than 5 g of net carbs per servings, the company said.

“For years, we have reimagined classic favorites with better-for-you alternatives, including our popular pancake and waffle mixes, and we’re thrilled to bring the Birch Benders magic into the baking aisle,” Lucy Rand, vice president of marketing at Birch Benders send. “We believe that life is too short to not enjoy the foods you love most, and this new line is a great option for anyone who is balancing decadent desserts and better-for-you eating.”

New launches in the keto baking and frosting line include the ultimate fudge keto brownie mix, chocolate keto cake mix, classic yellow keto cake mix, chocolate keto frosting and vanilla keto frosting.

On the other hand, products in the organic baking collection include the ultimate fudge organic brownie mix, chocolate organic cake mix, and classic yellow organic cake mix.

Currently, Birch Benders’ keto baking mixes and frostings and organic baking mixes are available online at BirchBenders.com and Amazon.com. The collection will hit Target, Kroger and other select retailers, including Walmart, beginning in April.
