C4 products roll out at Albertsons’ banners

11/4/2019

C4 announced that its collection of better-for-you energy drinks is hitting retail shelves.

The Austin-based company’s products can now be found at such retailers as Safeway, Jewel Osco and Shaw’s grocery chains, which just so happen to be part of the Albertsons family.

Consumers can now find nine of C4’s sugar-free flavors in 163 Shaw’s locations across the New England area. The brand’s products are also expected to hit 185 Jewel Osco shelves in spring 2020, and can currently be found in Safeway stores across Northern California.

“These chains are only a few of the many we are in the process of closing for 2020 resets. C4 is being extremely well received by buyers in all channels based on a combination of current sell-through and our unique performance energy offering,” Greg Moran, the national accounts director of beverage for C4's parent company, Nutrabolt said. “We are the fastest-growing energy drink in the category, and based on our current trajectory, it looks like the C4 freight train will have a breakout year in 2020 retail.”

Key ingredients found in C4 products include CarnoSyn, Beta-Alanine, and BetaPower. In addition, it’s products do not contain sugar, sodium, carbs or calories, the company said.

Further information on store availability can be found on the company’s website.
