Caulipower rolls out riced cauliflower flavors

6/26/2020

Caulipower is continuing to expand its offerings of better-for-you comfort foods.

New to the Los Angeles-based company’s roster? Three new flavors of its previously launched riced cauliflower.

Ranging from 100 to 160 calories per container, the products come in a microwaveable and recyclable cup that also is dishwasher safe, the company said.

Both vegan and keto certified, the three new launches are also non-GMO, contain 3 to 5 g of net carbs per serving, and do not have any added sugar.

The three flavor additions include:

  • Baja Style, which has corn, black beans and red spices;
  • Curried, which contains curry with a subtle kick of turmeric and green herbs; and
  • Sesame Citrus, which features a tangy sesame flavor, as well as red pepper, edamame and onion.

“I said we'd never do riced cauliflower unless we could truly make it better-for-you, better tasting, and more convenient,” Gail Becker, founder and CEO of Caulipower said. “Through this latest innovation, that's exactly what we've been able to do… all in category-busting packaging.”

Consumers can find the new launches at Amazon.com, as well as such select retailers as Gelson’s, Dierbergs and Busch’s. Additional nationwide availability will follow at such retailers as Albertsons, Safeway, Sprouts, Hy-Vee and FreshDirect throughout the summer.
