Active Health Foods rolls out Active X bar for dialysis patients

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Active Health Foods has introduced an energy bar designed for dialysis patients.

The Active X double chocolate chip bar is made with an exclusive, proprietary formula and joins the company's current lineup of energy bars sold under the Active X and Active X Plus brands.

"We want to give some joy to those who suffer from kidney disease and who are on the difficult regime of dialysis, while at the same time taking into account their special dietary needs," Active Health Foods founder and president Gregory Manos said.
