Angie’s BoomChickaPop expands popcorn offerings

New varieties of Angie’s BoomChickaPop popcorn is about to hit shelves.

The Chicago-based company, which is part of the Conagra family of brands, announced the addition of the new Sea Salt Air-Popped Popcorn and White Cheddar Puffs.

Created with just three ingredients — premium tender-white popcorn, 100% avocado oil and French sea salt — the Sea Salt Air-Popped Popcorn contains 35 calories per popped cup, the company said.
Meanwhile, the White Cheddar Puffs are a corn snack that’s baked with real cheddar cheese and come in the standard 6-oz. bag as well as pre-portioned 1-oz. snack bags.

Both of Angie’s BoomChickaPop’s new additions are gluten-free and Non-GMO Project Verified, the company said.

"We're excited to continue introducing new ways for consumers to enjoy Angie's BoomChickaPop," Kevin Moses, the senior brand manager of popcorn at Conagra Brands said. "The addition of White Cheddar Puffs gives us the chance to expand beyond popcorn, but still deliver on the promise of a hugely flavorful eating experience in a new format. With Sea Salt Air-Popped Popcorn, we now offer a ready-to-eat popcorn made with avocado oil and French Sea Salt that contains 35 calories per popped cup that doesn't sacrifice on flavor or real, simple ingredients."
