Baskin-Robbins takes a bite out of mini desserts with new line
CANTON, Mass. — Baskin-Robbins on Friday announced the launch of Cake Bites, a new bite-sized line of mini desserts that combine ice cream and cake in a single serving.
Cake Bites are available at Baskin-Robbins throughout the country for $2.99 individually or $9.99 for a mix-n-match 4-pack, in four flavors, including:
- Double Chocolate — Chocolate ice cream over chocolate cake, enrobed with chocolate ganache coating, finished with chocolate accent;
- Praline Caramel — Pralines 'n Cream ice cream over white cake enrobed with white chocolate ganache coating, finished with caramel drizzle and chopped pralines;
- Chocolate Mint — Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream over chocolate cake, enrobed with chocolate ganache coating, finished with white chocolate drizzle; and
- Vanilla Blondie — Vanilla ice cream over white cake, enrobed with white chocolate ganache coating, finished with chocolate accent.
Cake Bites are the latest miniature offering from Baskin-Robbins, following the summer release of its Mini Cones and the recent addition of mini 31Below frozen beverages and Mini Soft Serve Parfaits. “We wanted to offer our ice cream cake enthusiasts a unique dessert that can be enjoyed individually or shared with that special someone,” said Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin’ Brands VP innovation and executive chef. “Cake Bites provide our on-the-go consumers an affordable elegant holiday dessert that looks exquisite, tastes delicious and requires no preparation time.”
