Bazooka launches Juicy Drop Gum

NEW YORK — Topps’ Bazooka Candy Brands division is introducing a new way to chew gum with its Juicy Drop Gum. The product lets consumers determine the flavor intensity of their gum and extend its flavor by adding sour gel to each piece. 

 

“Juicy Drop Gum will shake up the gum category by capitalizing on consumer desire for longer lasting flavor, allowing consumers to create their very own delicious gum and gel combination that extends flavor and brings fun to every bite,” Juicy Drop brand manager Rebecca Sotsky said. “Juicy Drop is the only brand that lets consumers control the combination of sweet and sour tastes for a mind-blowing flavor experience.” 

 

The packaging comes with a built-in gel flavor booster and eight pieces of sweet bubble gum. Gum flavor can be added in the piece of gum’s “drop zone” and added while chewing to boost flavor. The gum is available in four flavors, Knock-Out Punch, Blue Rebel, Apple Attack and Watermelon Blast. It is available at such retailers as Walmart, Kroger and 7-11.
