NEW YORK — As baseball season approaches, Budweiser is looking to get fans in certain cities excited with its new customized MLB team cans. The limited-edition cans feature unique designs from local artists and are set to hit shelves March 27 in time for Opening Day on April 3.
“Baseball and the culture it created is a true celebration of the American spirit,” Anheuser-Busch VP marketing Budweiser Ricardo Marques said. “This year, we wanted to leverage our long-standing partnership with MLB to raise a toast to the fans by giving them a piece of their hometown to enjoy right in the palm of their hand with our MLB designed team cans.”
The cans will be available in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Oakland, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Washington D.C.
