Clorox, Vme encourage germ prevention through 'Hogar + Sanito en Tres Pasitos'

1/23/2012

OAKLAND, Calif. — Clorox has partnered with Spanish television network Vme in an effort to encourage germ prevention among Hispanic consumers.

The "Hogar + Sanito en Tres Pasitos" campaign encourages Hispanic consumers to take part in the following three steps: get a flu shot, wash their hands and disinfect surfaces. The campaign also includes a specially commissioned song called "Hogar + Sanito en Tres Pasitos," composed by children's music author Suni Paz and performed by Vme's TuBebe host, Minerva Borjas, as part of two musical video vignettes that will feature Borjas and the characters from the famous Spanish cartoon series, "Las Tres Mellizas Bebes." The vignettes are airing on Vme and Clorox Latino's Facebook page now through March.

"We thought the 'Hogar + Sanito en Tres Pasitos' song would be a unique and fun way for parents to entertain and teach their kids how to help keep the flu and cold viruses away," Clorox marketing manager Jay Stilwell said. "With this educational campaign, we hope to reach millions of Hispanic families as part of Clorox's commitment to help create a healthier home for families across the country."
