ATLANTA Coca-Cola has elected a new director to its board, the soft drink giant announced Monday.

Phoebe Wood officially will become director April 22. Wood will serve on the Affiliated Transaction and Audit Committees of CCE’s board of directors. She has more than 30 years of international finance and operations management experience, and serves as principal of CompaniesWood, a consulting firm that specializes in early stage investments.

“Phoebe’s experiences leading financial operations for an international beverage company, along with her directorships at consumer goods, manufacturing, and investment management companies, will provide tremendous value to our board of directors,” said John F. Brock, chairman and CEO, Coca-Cola Enterprises. “We look forward to working with her and benefiting from her unique perspective on our business, its finances, our global markets, and the overall beverage industry.”
