Coca-Cola reports strong Q2 earnings
ATLANTA Coca-Cola Enterprises reported second-quarter earnings of $328 million, excluding the effects of restructuring costs.
Setting aside a negative currency impact of 6.5%, the company delivered a total revenues spike of 6%, while the comparable second-quarter operating income grew 12%. In North America, operating income increased $43 million, or 13%.
“We have responded to macroeconomic conditions with solid brand and marketplace initiatives, including enhancements to our price/package architecture, and successful execution of efficiency and effectiveness programs,” said John F. Brock, chairman and CEO.
