Earthbound Farm introduces new prepared, organic products
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, Calif. — Organic produce grower Earthbound Farm introduced on Thursday several new certified-organic, ready-to-eat products.
The company released the following three salad kits:
The Organic Kale Caesar Salad Kit (Rich & Spicy) includes baby kale, red and green cabbage and sweet shredded carrots, packaged together with roasted sunflower seeds, aged Parmesan cheese, multi-grain croutons and a spicy light Caesar dressing.
The Organic Sun-Washed Mediterranean Salad Kit (Savory & Tangy) is composed of spinach, peppery arugula and bitter radicchio, packaged together with chewy sun-dried tomatoes, roasted chickpeas, feta cheese and a Greek dressing with sun-dried tomatoes and kalamata olives.
The Organic Garden Party Salad Kit (Festive & Fruit Forward) includes spring mix and Asian greens together with chewy, mildly tart, dried wild blueberries and cranberries, feta cheese and a slightly sweet raspberry-balsamic vinaigrette.
In addition to its new salad kits, Earthbound Farm released its organic Kale Caesar PowerMeal Bowl, the fourth flavor in its line of plant-based, single-serve bowls and the only all-organic salad bowl on the market, according to the company:
The Kale Caesar PowerMeal Bowl expands the line with a contemporary twist on the traditional Caesar salad. This bowl is complete with baby kale, red and green cabbage and sweet shredded carrots, packaged together with roasted sunflower seeds, aged Parmesan cheese, multi grain croutons and a spicy light Caesar dressing.
