Fiber One introduces new cheesecake bars

MINNEAPOLIS — Fiber One on Friday introduced its new cheesecake bars in salted caramel and strawberry.


The bars feature 5 g of fiber and 150 calories per bar, in addition to graham cracker and creamy cheesecake layers.


“We are excited to introduce a guilt-free option inspired by a classic American dessert,” Maria Lopez, associate marketing manager, said. “Fiber One Cheesecake Bars have cheesecake taste and texture that fulfill cheesecake cravings. This new offering is definitely worth celebrating throughout August and beyond.”


In celebration of National Cheesecake Day on July 30, Fiber One created a pop-up cheesecake cafe sampling event at Grand Central Station in New York City.


Fiber One will host a Cheesecake Appreciation Month Sweepstakes this August, in partnership with Hungry Girl, an online subscription service dedicated to healthy eating.
