Hershey introduces Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars

HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Company on Tuesday introduced the newest addition to its Brookside Dark Chocolate portfolio, the Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars.

The new product contains whole, roasted almonds, real fruit and dark chocolate. It is also gluten-free, comprised of neither artificial flavors nor trans fat, according to the company. The cholesterol-free bars contain vitamins A, C and E, and are low in sodium.

“People love to snack throughout the day and want a broader range of wholesome options,” Tony Tyree, VP of Snacks and Grocery for The Hershey Company, said. “They also want to know what’s in their food, how it’s made and where the ingredients come from. Inspired by our consumers’ wholesome snacking preferences, we’ve developed Brookside Fruit & Nut bars, which are crafted from simpler ingredients to create an extraordinarily delicious eating experience that can be enjoyed at any time of day.”

BrooksideFruit & Nut Bars come in three varieties: cranberry with blackberry flavor, cherry with pomegranate flavor and blueberry with acai flavor.
