Hostess, Angry Birds partner on treats for fans

Just in time for the back-to-school season, Hostess and Rovio Entertainment’s Angry Birds game have announced that they have joined forces once again.

The two brand previously worked together in 2017, and now are partnering to allow those who download Angry Birds Match to receive free Gems, which are a $4.99 value form of currency in the game.

Hostess comes into the picture by containing information on the free Gems and offering consumers a chance to win a trip to Hawaii through Delta Vacations.

“Consumers will love to take a break with an indulgent treat from Hostess, a few rounds of Angry Birds Match, or the ultimate break, a trip to paradise,” Keith Peterfeso, brand director for All Day Snacking, Hostess Brands, said. “Gamers, snackers, and travelers alike will unite in their shared enjoyment of this interactive partnership.”

Entry to the sweepstakes can be found on select multipacks of Hostess’ CupCakes, Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Ho Hos, Raspberry Zingers and Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cakes.

Rules and guidelines to the sweepstakes can be found on the packaging of Hostess’ select snacks that are participating.
