BOSTON — Retail intelligence provider Mobee on Tuesday released an infographic illustrating the data captured during week leading up to Valentine's Day. Mobee's infographic reveals which brands took the top spot on store shelves, the best displays and which names won over the hearts — and dollars — of customers leading up to the big day.
The company gathered data based on almost 400 visits to CVS and Walgreens stores across the country. Which brand got the most love? The bragging rights belong to Russell Stover, which won over customers at both retail locations. It was the first brand that shoppers noticed when they entered both stores. Hershey's and Whitman's followed behind Russell Stover.
Mobee also said that Russell Stover enjoyed a large shelf presence, leading to a majority of shoppers choosing that brand over the others.
