J. M. Smucker announces executive changes

ORRVILLE, Ohio — J. M. Smucker has announced several executive changes, including the appointment of a new corporate officer.

J. M. Smucker said that its VP advertising and creative services, Tamara Fynan, has been promoted to corporate officer and VP marketing services.

Meanwhile, current corporate officer and VP marketing communications Chris Resweber, a 24-year company veteran, has been promoted to the newly created position of SVP corporate communications and public affairs. Additionally, Julia Sabin, corporate offive and VP and general manager of Smucker Natural Foods has been appointed to VP industry and government affairs. Sabin, a 28-year company veteran, succeeds Al Yeagley, who will retire from the company at the end of the year.

Fynan and Resweber will step into their new, respective roles May 1, while Sabin will step into her new role at the company June 1.
