Jelly Belly intros another beverage-inspired bean

FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Jelly Belly Candy Co. announced a festive way to ring in the New Year with the introduction of new Champagne Jelly Belly beans. The new flavor is available at JellyBelly.com and Jelly Belly stores. 

 

The champagne-inspired beans pack the flavor of a flute of bubbly, minus the alcohol. The candy's iridescent coating also evokes the imagery of a freshly poured glass. 

 

The new bean will be sold as a single flavor only and is shipping to candy counters now, the company said. The Champagne jelly beans join other beverage-inspired product rollouts in 2014, which included Draft Beer and Jewel Ginger Ale.
