Jelly Belly to launch chocolate-covered Sunkist Orange Slices

FAIRFIELD, Calif. In October, Jelly Belly Candy will launch Sunkist Orange Slices, orange-flavored jelly candy covered with dark chocolate, Jelly Belly said Friday.

Jelly Belly is marketing the candy under a licensing agreement with the citrus marketing cooperative. The candy company said the product contains no added preservatives and provides all the vitamin C a person needs in a day.

The candy will be available in 6.5-oz pouches. Jelly Belly also makes Sunkist Fruit Gems, Sunkist Orange Slices and Jelly Belly Sunkist Citrus Mix jellybeans.
