Jones promoted to Kellogg's vp of business development and sales operations

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. The Kellogg Co. announced today that it has promoted Dave Jones to the position of vice president of business development and sales operations.

Jones will be responsible for sales training and development, sales operations, sales business technology and will have an expanded role in industry relations.

Jones began working for the company in 1986 as a sales representative in Tulsa, Okla. He became director of contracted sales in 1994, director of team sales in 1997 and director of retail sales in 2000. In 2007, he was named director of business development and sales operations at Kellogg’s Battle Creek headquarters.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He lives in Kalamazoo, Mich., with his wife. They have two adult sons.
