Kellogg's unveils 2012 product lineup

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Kellogg's announced the rollout of nearly two dozen products in the United States, including new additions to its cereals, snacks and frozen foods portfolios.


For the cereal category, Kellogg's has introduced the following items:




  • Krave cereal, which features a multigrain shell with a chocolate inside. Available in chocolate and double chocolate, the cereal already has distribution in Europe;




  • Crunchy Nut Caramel Nut cereal, the newest addition to the Crunchy Nut brand;




  • Frosted Mini-Wheats Little Bites cinnamon roll cereal; and




  • Kellogg's Raisin Bran cinnamon almond cereal.




For the snacks category, Kellogg's is touting the following items:




  • Special K cracker chips in cheddar and southwest ranch varieties;




  • Special K granola bars;




  • Cheez-it mozzarella crackers;




  • Keebler Jumbo Fudge Sticks mint cookies;




  • Pop-Tarts Wild! Fruit Fusion toaster pastries;




  • Pop-Tarts Mini Crisps brown sugar cinnamon; and




  • Carr's flat bread crackers.




For the frozen foods category, Kellogg's is expanding with:




  • Eggo Wafflers, tear-apart waffle bars that toast up crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and will be available in brown sugar cinnamon roll and strawberry strudel flavors;




  • Eggo Protein Original waffles, which tout 8g of protein in each two-waffle serving;




  • Simply Eggo waffles, which are free of preservatives, artificial flavors and colors;




  • Eggo Homestyle low-fat waffles; and




  • Morningstar Farms Meal Starter veggie meatballs.

"The introduction of new products in the first half of 2012 continues that legacy and provides delicious options for the whole family."
