Mars spreads holiday cheer with new chocolate treats

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — 'Tis the season for chocolate and Mars is introducing a flurry of new treats for the holidays to accompany its traditional festive offerings.  



"Chocolate is a quintessential part of so many family celebrations, and Mars Chocolate brands have been integral to holiday traditions for generations," Roy Benin, chief consumer officer of Mars Chocolate North America said. "Each year, we develop a wide winter holiday assortment based on valuable input from consumers. This year, we're introducing some exciting new products, and of course, we're bringing back our perennial classics."



One of the company's new confections is Twix Santas, which combines the classic Santa Claus shape with Twix chocolate. Twix Santas will be available as singles and in six-packs.



Other new items on the roster include:

• M&M's Recipe Box Tin, which includes M&M's candies along with recipes and cookie cutter;
  
   


• M&M's Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays Cane, a transparent candy cane with red and green chocolate candies inside;
  
   


• Gift boxes and goodie bags, which feature "To/From" labels;
  
   


• M&M's Minis Milk Chocolate Candies Tube, which can serve as a stocking stuffer or party favor; and
  
   


• M&M's Minis Milk Chocolate Candies in festive red and green colors.

 

Returning items include red and green M&M's candies and Dove Promises Milk and Dark Chocolate Snowflakes.
