Maruchan Gold elevates the ramen experience

Maruchan is looking to change the ramen game with its new Gold launch.

The brand-new instant noodle, which was a development of perfect air-dry noodle technology, is available in two flavors — soy sauce and spicy miso.

“At Maruchan, we believe ramen is food for everyone to enjoy,” Mark Horikawa, the general manager of sales for Maruchan, said. “Not only will the quality of our GOLD products excite experienced home cooks, it will also entice those students looking for an affordable yet authentic food experience.”

Originally launched in Japan in 2013, its success prompted the brand to bring the product to the United States where there is a growing affinity for authentic Asian cuisine, the company said.

Shoppers can now find Maruchan Gold in a variety of markets across the nation including such large grocery chains as Meijer, Albertsons-Safeway, Food Lion and Hy-Vee, as well as Amazon.
