Maxwell House Haggadah gets makeover in time for Passover

3/22/2011

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — The Maxwell House Haggadah is sprucing up its appearance.

The Haggadah is a sacred text used during the Seder, a sacred holiday meal celebrated by Jewish families during the Passover holiday. The coffee brand noted that the English and Hebrew texts no longer are on opposing columns of the same page, but now are on opposite pages, allowing for easier and clearer reading in both languages.

Passover is celebrating during the month of April.

"Consumers have been inviting Maxwell House to their Seder tables for nearly 80 years," said Becky McAninch, senior brand manager of Maxwell House coffee. "As a brand, it's a relationship we cherish. It's our hope this new Haggadah will become as much an integral part of the holiday as the previous editions have been."

The new Maxwell House Haggadah now is available at select supermarkets throughout the United States and, as always, is free with the purchase of any Maxwell House coffee product.
