Mello Yello to adopt camouflage pattern

8/4/2015

ATLANTA — The Coca-Cola Company announced Monday that its citrus-flavored soda Mello Yello will take on a camouflage pattern this fall, designed by Realtree, a hunting apparel brand based in Columbus, Ga.

The new design is part of the company’s “This is MY World” campaign, which features out-of-home advertising with David Blanton, the host of Realtree Outdoors, according to the company.

“Our fans are passionate people, from their loyalty to the smooth citrus taste of Mello Yello and 300 mph of drag racing to the gritty adventures of the outdoors,” Bobby Oliver, director of Sparkling Citrus brands, said. “This fall, we’re bringing Realtree’s camouflage revolution directly to Mello Yello packaging for the perfect partnership between two lifestyle brands.”

The camouflage pattern will appear on Mello Yello and Mello Yello Zero 20-oz. bottles, 12-oz. cans in 12-packs and on 16-oz. cans, the company said.
