M&Ms Go Green

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Mars Snackfood US has released limited-edition all-green milk chocolate M&M’s and all-green peanut chocolate M&M’s available in 14-ounce and 1.5 ounce green packs.

The suggested retail price is $2.99 and $.58. Seven-ounce packs of the chocolate candies, featuring special love messages from M&M’s “spokescandy” Ms. Green, are available for a suggested retail price of $3.99.

Rumors have been circulating since the ’70s about green M&M’s being an aphrodisiac. To put consumers “in the mood” Mars is sending one lucky couple on a weekend getaway to Paris, including airfare, hotel and $1,500 cash.
