Mondelez to expand e-commerce, introduce healthier snacks

NEW YORK — Mondelēz International has announced that it will spend more on advertising, increase healthier snacks and expand its e-commerce business as consumers eat less processed food, according to CNBC.


"If you look at where consumers are going, we have to better position the portfolio to fully unlock the potential for growth," Mark Clouse, Mondelēz's chief growth officer, said.


The company plans to increase its advertising spending to 10% of revenue by 2018, and hopes to grow its e-commerce business ti $1 billion in 2020. Read more here.
