New Bartell Drug location offers beer on tap

SEATTLE — Beer on tap and its own brand of ice cream are a few of the enticers here at a new Bartell Drugs location, according to a local news report.



The Ballard News-Tribune reported that the new location has 10 rotating taps, one of which will always be a root beer. In keeping with its roots, the company is planning to offer only Washington beers and perhaps some from Oregon.



In addition to offering locally brewed beer, the company is also offering its own brand of ice cream called Emerald and Spruce, the article stated.
