PepsiCo appoints EVP communications

PURCHASE, N.Y. — PepsiCo has appointed Jim Wilkinson to lead the company's global communications team.

Wilkinson, who will serve as EVP communications, joins PepsiCo from Brunswick Group LLC, where he has served as managing partner since 2009, providing strategic counsel on global corporate mandates spanning international, corporate and financial communications, corporate reputation, investor relations, crisis management and litigation. Prior to Brunswick Group, Wilkinson served as chief of staff for U.S. Treasury secretary Henry Paulson, serving as Paulson's senior strategist and counselor and working on matters of financial policy and crisis management.

Wilkinson will report to PepsiCo chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi.

"Jim has worked at the highest levels of corporations and other institutions managing complex global communications initiatives and building effective international teams. His experience and management skills will serve PepsiCo well."
