Philadelphia Cream Cheese expands product line

GLENVIEW, Ill. — Philadelphia Cream Cheese is looking to broaden its appeal with the launch of new cream cheese products this spring.

Spicy Jalapeno is the newest flavor of cream cheese spread from the Philadelphia company. This new cream cheese flavor is made with real jalapenos and adds a hint of heat to a bagel, sandwiches, flatbreads and dips.

"Knowing consumers are becoming more adventurous with their food choices, we didn't skimp on the heat," said Nina Barton, senior director of Philadelphia Cream Cheese. "We weren't afraid to make our new jalapeno flavor actually rather spicy. On the other spectrum, to satisfy our consumers' sweet tooth, we're also introducing another delicious option called Snack Delights that's perfect for an afternoon snack."

Philadelphia Snack Delights are a new dippable, spreadable snack topper, combining Philadelphia Reduced Fat Cream Cheese with real ingredients. The product is launching in stores on April 15 and is available in five different flavors: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Cinnamon and Caramel.
