EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Organic nutrition company Plum Organics is counting on its new line of soups to help satisfy hungry kids. The company's new soups, available in three vareities, marks its debut into the mealtime category.
"At Plum, our mission has always been to get the very best food to all little ones from the very first bite, and our kids' organic soup line is a natural extension of that mission," said Neil Grimmer, co-founder and CEO of Plum Organics.
The soups are single-serve and take minutes to heat up and serve. Each 8-oz. pouch contains at least 7 g of protein, the company said. Consumers can choose from Chicken Noodle, Tomato & Turkey Meatball and Chicken Fiesta.
Plum Organics Soups are currently available at such retailers as Meijer and Safeway, as well as select Target stores, for a suggested retail price of $2.99 per pouch. Consumers can also visti Amazon.com and PlumOrganics.com to make a purchase.
