PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Post Great Grains will usher in the New Year with a new selection of granola and snack mix products, the company announced. Additionally, the brand will launch a new campaign asking consumers to leave fad dieting behind in 2015.

The new products — Bar Undone Granola Snack Mixes and Great Grains Granolas — mark the first non-cereal products in the Great Grains portfolio. Each serving of snack mix packs 8 g of protein and 4 g of fiber; and a half-cup serving of Great Grains granola has at least 26 g of whole grain, according to the company.

Bar Undone Granola Snack Mixes are available in two varieties: Cranberry, Nuts and Seeds and Dark Chocolate Nut. Great Grains Granola also gives consumers two options: Super Nutty and Blueberry Flax.

“At Great Grains, we believe when it comes to healthy eating, the secret is, there is no secret,” said Mangala D’Sa, brand director for Post Great Grains. “A fad-free diet, complete with wholesome, nutritious foods such as Great Grains cereals, new Great Grains – The Bar Undone Granola Snack Mix and new Great Grains Granolas with real fruit, nuts and seeds, is key to healthy eating.”

The "Fad Free" campaign launches Jan. 1 and consumers can take an online pledge via the brand's Facebook page. For every pledge taken, Post will donate to the AmpleHarvest.org campaign, a nonprofit that seeks to diminish hunger and malnutrition in America.
