Purple names former Red Bull exec as its vice president of East Coast sales

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Purple Beverage Co. today announced that Dan Morelli will move into a seat as vice president of East Coast sales and distribution. Morelli comes to the Purple team after leading sales at Red Bull for nearly a decade.

“We could not be happier to add an industry veteran with so much experience under his belt to our team,” Purple Beverage founder and chief executive officer, Ted Farnsworth, said. “Not only did [Morelli] help launch Red Bull here in the U.S., but his extensive experience will surely give Purple an industry edge.”

Farnsworth predicted Morelli would be key in expanding East Coast distribution.

Purple is an antioxidant-rich fruit beverage sold in convenience, drug and health food stores, as well as supermarkets and other retail venues.
