S.Pellegrino goes sleek with new cans

S.Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water is taking on a whole new look.

The Stamford, Conn.-based company unveiled sleek cans as part of its product lineup.

Containing the same mix of bubbles and taste consumers have come to associate the brand with, those who crave a sip can now take the beverage on the road to fit any occasion.

The can’s look is inspired by the brand’s classic bottles and includes its green hue along with the red star, which is overlaid in metallic silver, the company said. The Art Nouveau building of San Pellegrino Terme set against the Alps mountain also is featured on the fridge pack and on the foil on the single-serve cans.

“The iconic S.Pellegrino bottle and famed sparkling mineral water have long been a staple on dining tables worldwide. Now with our new cans, we offer a whole new way to enjoy the signature taste of S.Pellegrino, wherever you enjoy food,” Danit Eisdorfer, group manager for S.Pellegrino, said. “With the addition of S.Pellegrino in sleek, modern cans, any meal occasion can be transformed into something special.”

In addition to unveiling its new cans, the company also pulled back the curtain on its Enhance Your Moments campaign and digital Taste Guide platform, which was developed in partnership with Bon Appetit Magazine.

S.Pellegrino cans will roll out across retailers nationwide throughout August, and be available for home and office delivery through ReadyRrefesh by Nestlé in select markets. The beverage will be sold in eight-can fridge packs that retail for $6.99 and single-serve formats.

The company also is encouraging those on social media to follow the brand on Instagram and check out the #TastefulMoments hashtag as well.
