Safe + Fair intros plant-based popcorn quinoa chips

9/26/2018
Safe + Fair Food is adding a special twist to popcorn.

The company announced that it will add popcorn quinoa chips to its portfolio in three flavors.

The chips, which also are gluten-free and made with clean ingredients, come in olive oil and sea salt, sweet and salty kettle, and sweet sriracha varieties.

"We're thrilled to introduce our new popcorn quinoa chips to the market and provide a gluten-free, allergy-friendly option for many of the underserved community of 15 million Americans affected by food allergies," Will Holsworth, CEO of Safe + Fair Food, said. "We realize that there is a growing demand for plant-based foods, and so we created a product that was also gluten-free and allergy-friendly."

Each of the products in the line also are certified gluten-free, Non GMO Project Verified, kosher, cholesterol-free and vegetarian, the company said.

Safe + Fair also will continue to donate 3% of its proceeds to the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University.

The popcorn quinoa chips are available for purchase online at the suggested retail price of $2.99 for a 4-oz. bag or $7.99 for a bundle containing each flavor. Further information on the products can be found on the company's website.
