Sauza Tequila is taking the concept of ready-to-drink spiked sparkling water to a whole new level.
The Chicago-based company is launching the new Agua Fuerte beverage, which is made with Sauza Silver Tequila and contains fresh, green notes along with a natural fruit essence.
Crafted with clear, sparkling water and no artificial flavors or sweeteners, the beverage also contains an agave taste, the company said.
“We're excited to introduce something new to the fast-growing, spiked sparkling water category,” Malini Patel, vice president of Tequila and premium growth platforms at Beam Suntory, said. “With a tequila spirit base and a focus on fresh, natural flavors, Sauza Agua Fuerte is perfect for tequila fans who are seeking light, refreshing cocktails to enjoy during the warm weather months.”
The beverage also comes in three distinct flavors, lime, grapefruit and mango.
Sauza Agua Fuerte has a 5% ABV, and comes in 12-oz. cans that feature the traditional Mexican sugar skull artwork. The beverage is currently available in select markets in single cans for $2.99 or in packs of four for $9.99.
Further information on the beverage can be found on the company's website or by following its social media channels.
