Shiner brings new brews to shelves

Spoetzl Brewery, one of the oldest craft breweries in Texas has unveiled the latest additions to its portfolio.

The Shiner Wicked Juicy IPA and Shiner Day Quencher Session Ale will be joining the brand’s lineup with their unique flavors.

The Wicked Juicy IPA is dry hopped, unfiltered and contains Citra hops, with a burst a citrus flavor. It also has 5.7% ABV, 60 IBUs and comes in 12-oz. and 19.2-oz. cans.

On the other hand, the Day Quencher features a dry hopped ale that’s brewed in Mosaics for a fruity aroma. It contains notes of citrus, yellow flowers and soft pine, and an ABV of 4.6%. Available in 12-oz. and 19.2-oz. options, the beverage also has 18 IBUs, the company said.

“Both beer styles are very much on trend and experiencing record category growth,” Gregor Mina, director of marketing for Spoetzl Brewery, said. “It's exciting to expand our portfolio with new variants to showcase the true craftsmanship of Shiner while complementing our core beers that have been fan-favorites for decades.”

The beverages will be supported by television advertisments that will run from August to October on local and sports channels in Texas. Further information can be fouond on the company's website.
