Siggi’s unveils relaunches, lactose-free innovations

07/22/2019
Siggi’s is extending its line of Icelandic yogurt.

The brand, which creates products with simple ingredients and not a lot of sugar, unveiled several new items , including four-count multipacks, a lactose-free line, and 4% coffee skyr made with cold brew, as well as renovating its Simple Sides line.

"As a brand, we're always looking to improve our offerings while staying true to our simple ingredients, lower sugar promise," Siggi Hilmarsson, founder of siggi's, said. "We've now grown so much that launching a four-pack makes sense as we have so many consumers who are buying multiple cups a week, and this is a more convenient offering for them. We've also launched our lactose-free line to reach our friends who are looking for lactose-free options. It's an exciting time for all of us at siggi's as we continue to expand the brand and grow the category, so we're very excited to introduce these new products to the market."

New additions include:

  • Four-count multipacks features mixed berries, vanilla and blueberry flavors in 2% milkfat, and retail for $5.69;

  • Lactose Free skyr has high protein and low sugar, and comes in plain and vanilla flavors. It is packaged in 24-oz. whole milk tubs and retails for $5.69;

  • 4% Coffee skyr, a coffee yogurt, uses arabica cold brew for flavor and comes in a whole milk cup that contains 13 g of protein and 8 g of sugar per serving. It retails for $1.69; and

  • Simple Sides, which does not contain added-sugar mix-ins, is relaunching the 2% milkfat skyr offering with 200 calories or less per cup, 15-to-16 g of protein, and 10-to-12 g of sugar per serving. It comes in vanilla & cinnamon yogurt with apples, almonds & oats, honey yogurt with dried figs & walnuts, vanilla yogurt with almonds & dried cherries, and vanilla yogurt with dried coconut & cacoa nibs.
