SnackWell’s reformulates products and announces portfolio expansion

5/8/2015

NAPLES, Fla. — SnackWell’s, a brand in the low-fat snack category, on Friday announced that it will be overhauling its products. The snacks will now be made without high-fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oil, artificial flavors or colors, the brand stated.

SnackWell’s is now building on the success of its signature products, which include Vanilla Creme Sandwich Cookies and Devil’s Food Cookie Cakes. Adding to the revitalization of SnackWell’s will be a new brand logo, tagline and packaging. In addition to reformulating its products, it will also expand its product offerings. In June, SnackWell’s will roll out a new Devil’s Food Cookie Cake flavor (Chocolate Mint) as well as 100% Whole Grain Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites.

"Now more than ever, consumers are seeking flavorful products made with healthier ingredients, which is why since we've been under new ownership, we have been working to reinvigorate the SnackWell's brand and what we offer our customers," said Vincent Fantegrossi, CEO, Back to Nature, which recently acquired the brand. “SnackWell's was one of the first brands on the market to offer consumers better-for-you snack options and our more than 20 years of experience has shaped who we are today as a brand. We're really excited to now have the opportunity to build on the brand's success with newly-reformulated products and new product offerings for our customers to enjoy."

SnackWell’s products can be found at such retailers as Safeway, Walmart, Kroger, Public, Target and Ahold, among others.
