Thanasi Foods announced three new Frank’s Redhot meat snacks

BOULDER, Colo. Thanasi Foods, a leading developer and supplier of branded foods, on Monday announced the addition of three new meat snacks to its Frank’s Redhot line. Frank’s Redhot original sausage sticks and Frank’s Redhot chile ‘n lime sausage sticks currently are available to key distributers and more than 4,000 retailers nationwide. The new Frank’s Redhot chile ‘n lime steak strips, made from beef steak marinated in Frank’s Redhot chile ‘n line hot sauce, will be available nationwide February 2008.

The zesty new snacks, like the Frank’s Redhot original beef jerky, were created through an agreement between Thanasi Foods and French’s Foods, a divisison of Reckitt Beckiser, owner of the Frank’s Redhot brand. The agreement was facilitated by Brandgenuity, the brand’s licensing agency.

“We are delighted to add new product formats and flavor profiles to the beef jerky line based on the initial success with the original variety,” stated Barbara Yaros, director of marketing services at French’s Foods. “Frank’s Redhot chile ‘n lime hot sauce combines savory heat with a tangy twist to create a flavor which perfectly compliments a meat snack.”
